A matting fee may be added for coats that are tangled, matted, or pelted and require additional time and care to safely groom. For your pet's comfort and welfare, severely matted coats may need to be shaved shorter than requested to safely remove the matting.

Matting fees begin at $30.

Dogs with impacted coats require additional bathing, specialized products, and extended drying and brushing time to safely remove compacted undercoat. An Impacted Coat Fee may apply based on the severity of the coat condition.

A special handling fee may be applied for pets requiring additional time, care, or assistance due to anxiety, behavioral challenges, age-related concerns, health conditions, mobility limitations, or other special needs. This fee helps ensure your pet receives the individualized attention necessary for a safe, comfortable, and stress-free grooming experience.

$50 for pets up to 20lbs.
$100 for pets from 21-60lbs.

A flea and tick bath is required for any pet with live fleas. This treatment is designed to eliminate fleas currently on your pet during the grooming appointment and provide immediate relief from active infestations.

Please note that a flea bath is not a preventative treatment and does not eliminate fleas, eggs, or larvae that may be present in your home, yard, vehicle, bedding, or other environments. To fully resolve a flea infestation, ongoing flea prevention and environmental treatment may be necessary.

Fayemous Grooms recommends consulting with your veterinarian regarding the most appropriate preventative products for your pet.

If ticks are discovered during your pet's grooming appointment, your groomer will safely remove them for an additional mandatory fee of $30.

Removed ticks will be placed in a secure container and provided to the owner for veterinary evaluation and testing if desired.

While every effort is made to safely remove attached ticks, grooming services are not a substitute for veterinary care. It is recommend to consult your veterinarian if your pet has multiple ticks, shows signs of illness, or if you have concerns regarding potential tick-borne diseases.

Dogs with heavily soiled, greasy, or excessively dirty coats may require multiple baths, specialty shampoos, and additional grooming time to safely restore the coat. A Deep Coat Cleansing fee may apply based on the condition of the coat and at the discretion of your groomer.
