A flea and tick bath is required for any pet with live fleas. This treatment is designed to eliminate fleas currently on your pet during the grooming appointment and provide immediate relief from active infestations.

Please note that a flea bath is not a preventative treatment and does not eliminate fleas, eggs, or larvae that may be present in your home, yard, vehicle, bedding, or other environments. To fully resolve a flea infestation, ongoing flea prevention and environmental treatment may be necessary.

Fayemous Grooms recommends consulting with your veterinarian regarding the most appropriate preventative products for your pet.

A flea treatment fee of $30 will be applied when live fleas are found during the grooming appointment.

If ticks are discovered during your pet's grooming appointment, your groomer will safely remove them for an additional mandatory fee of $30.

Removed ticks will be placed in a secure container and provided to the owner for veterinary evaluation and testing if desired.

While every effort is made to safely remove attached ticks, grooming services are not a substitute for veterinary care. It is recommended to consult your veterinarian if your pet has multiple ticks, shows signs of illness, or if you have concerns regarding potential tick-borne diseases.
